FAQ
Do echoes really disappear?
Yes. Threads are removed shortly after both sides listen, with safeguards to avoid orphans. Some metadata may remain for safety and abuse prevention per our policies.
How do I invite friends to EchoMe?
Open the app and go to your Profile screen. Tap Invite Friends, then share your link or let your friend scan your QR code. After they install the app and create an account, you can send them a friend request to connect.
How do I block, report, or unfriend someone?
Open the app and go to your Friends screen.
Tap the friend you want to manage, then choose More (⋯). You can:
- Block — prevents them from sending you echoes or friend requests. You won’t see their content.
- Report User — report inappropriate behavior. Reports are reviewed; your identity isn’t shared.
- Unfriend — remove them from your friends list.
To unblock: open Your Friends → Blocked Users and tap Unblock.
How do I report an echo?
From the echo you want to report, tap The Flag (⋯) → Report Echo, choose a reason, and tap Send.
We review reports to keep EchoMe safe. The other user does not see who reported. If there’s immediate danger, contact local authorities first.
Which platforms are supported?
EchoMe is currently Android-first via Google Play. iOS is planned.
How is my data handled?
